I have just had an email from Rachel at PB to say that my name will be added to a list of people whose Lottery points will be credited at the end of the week.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930

In another highly professional (!) PB Survey, on "Maria's X-Factor", whatever that is, there is a glaring omission. Question 6 asks which of the remaining X-Factor contestants you would vote for. Except it doesn't give you the option of ticking "Never 'eard of it, mate" or even "Terribly sorry, I'm unfamiliar with this programme". Not even "Dunno". So even though you've never seen the thing, you have to vote for someone.
Mind you, some of the answers to the last question are very amusing.
