NATIONAL LOTTERY
Could anyone who registered with the national lottery and hasn't gotten their PiggyPoints please forward their registration email or details to postmaster@pigsback.com with MSE NATIONAL LOTTERY POINTS as the subject and mark it for my attention please?
Thanks

Didn't complete any details for the 20-point credit card page. Got my 20 points just from the initial click.
Yes, it's been very frantic! Silly! Every time I sent a reply, I was five or six posts behind! Page loading very slow with dial-up!
Will try to find time later to answer fully Daragh's point about which questions he hasn't answered.
Here's a few to start off ...
What happens to multiple submissions of the daily crossword? Is there a software mechanism to discard all submissions after the first one? Or are all submissions, including duplicate entries, enetered into the draw. (Can I add a question: Why is the winner not named, as s/he is in the Rustlers comp?)
There is no new crossword on Saturdays and Sundays. It is, however, possible to resubmit Friday's. Is there any advantage to doing this, and how does this tie in with your answer to the last question?
Why are so many people not getting their eBay 300 points, months after they signed up and made their first bid (13 July in my case)?
Why are so many people not getting their 200 points for their registration with LightSpeed? (Again, on 13 July for me).
Why were so many people advised that they had not followed the correct procedure to claim points when it would seem that the majority had indeed done so?
Why did the daily quizzes frequently fail to appear? (Hopefully, this is a thing of the past).
Why was the winner of the 10-point Know Your Celebs quiz named on-screen, when there was no prize to be won? (This was stopped shortly after I mentioned it here).
Why does the winner of the daily Rustlers Trivia Quiz always live in "SE - London South West" - apparently?
Why is it unlikely that the L2S vouchers will return? (I accept that this may be commercially sensitive, but I would respect such an answer if it was given).
And we've not had a proper answer as to why some people get different Monday click-throughs when they are signed up for the same interest categories - as evidenced today, where some folk are getting 10 points for the HQ Hair ad.
I'm sure I'll find some more if I dig back through the threads!!!Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
I got 4 clickthroughs, but I did get the ebookers one late last week.
I've cashed in on 2 CDWOW vouchers in the last 2 weeks, and now got the points I need for a couple of highstreet vouchers - for whenever they appear!

MyUserNamesTaken wrote:ginvzt, you didn't have to give them any details to get the points! All you had to do was click apply on one of the links on the pigsback page. This would have popped up a new window. You should have then closed the new window and clicked "home" on the pigsback page to see your 20 points credited!
well, will be more clever next time....Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

This thread is turning "Argos" this morning. I pity anyone coming home tonight and trying to catch up. It took me ages to read through a weeks worth when I came home, but well worth it, found out a lot of info didn't know and also got a couple of links that I would have missed into the bargain.
Thanks Darragh for your time, hope you get some personal time to look round other parts of the site and find out how much fun Moneysaving can be, after all Pigsback isn't the only part of the site (sighs - thank goodness), and we do all have another life pre and post Pigsback.\o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/Wise Men Still Seek Him!0 -

If it's not too late to catch the suggestions bit - Boots isn't so useful because they generate their own points quite fast. I like the idea of HMV vouchers, or would be interested in Arcadia Group vouchers (various clothes shops) or M&S.Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0
