  • I've started using CDWOW and AMAZON more for my purchases, when I might have bought stuff elsewhere before, so the system is working!

I'd love to see the Amazon deal extend to other items (CDWOW often has limited stock when it comes to things I'm after - eg, they don't have the latest bestselling Ross Noble or Bill Bailey DVDs!). However, the Amazon process is quite tricky, it requires a separate email etc.

I even tried the online National Lottery, though I don't think I was credited with my piggypoints for that (Maybe they are on their way)

It'd be interesting to see how popular some of your Love2Shop partners (eg Boots, Woolworths) would find if they were to offer pointsback on online purchases too. Someone like Argos I'm sure would do well.

Also, I wonder if Piggypoints could be used in a similar way to micropayments such as Bitpass? Or if they could be used to purchase Bitpass credits. Maybe something to look into.

  • Hi,

just a thought here, but i dont think anyone has mentioned CHOICE vouchers equally, if not better than L2S vouchers! I dont mind using either, but if you could do tesco vouchers, now your talking!

There is no question that the tracking with CD-WOW works correctly. As you say, fish1000, the Amazon system is different. The tracking system with ASOS is evidently distinctly dodgy, though.

Daragh has said that Lottery points should arrive in our accounts on Monday at the very latest, IIRC.

Dormouse I think the point about you checking out stuff for your OHs account is that only the account holder themselves is supposed to access their account (get him to look at Octopus travel newsletter for 50 points)

Darragh - I love ya for the 6 click through every Monday :D:D:D

I have bought from CD-WOW several times (cash not vouchers) and although I plan to buy from Avon through your site, CD_WOW is the only shop and earn site that I would use on a regular basis........now if you had Tesco grocery...................(I know that would be difficult) or Amazon other than just books (not that I don't read)

Also I know you are planning on more rewards etc and believe me larger denominations of CD-WOW vouchers would be GREAT - however at the moment the choice doesn't really make me and others want to build up tonnes of points on purchases when there is really nothing to spend them on other than small denominations of CD-WOW vouchers (at least nothing for me as I live in central Scotland)

One more point I realise you say that 80% odd of your UK members are in or near London - but while you cater for them in the main you are unlikely to expand your membership base greatly as the rewards don't encourage nonLondon members at the moment. Store specific vouchers will never be as popular as L2S vouchers BUT vouchers for Boots, Tescos (Please), Argos etc would be liked by everyone :D

Any chance of another general shoppping voucher - i.e. Choice gift vouchers? as they cover a lot of shops also

    Cheers :D

How many of you have BOUGHT something through Pigsback.com and earned PiggyPoints for it?

    Darragh

I think that should be a two part question ;)

A good idea, as also suggested by loobyloose, who may also need emotional guidance! :p

I realise that, and never actually said I would access his account. I said I was telling him what links to go for, not doing it for him (have to do enough things for him as it is   )

Thanks for the Octopus tip, forgot all about it, will tell him to check it out. :T
