my ticket I paid for was only £14 through work, so not too bad. Funnily enough, hubby won't come, but I'm taking a mate, and I live right by the racecourse so in theory it won't be an expensive day. Although my willpower fails me after a few drinks!
Thats a big difference, it was going to cost us £50 for the tickets, then as hubby offered to take me it was his bets, etc., on top. We live just over an hour away. But I felt guilty and thought it would be better to spend the money on the day out for the kids. I tried to win a family pass for Paultons Park or Longleat to justify my tickets but I couldn't win one of those and then tried to win my Dad a camera on Iconic Britain to balance the money that way - but I hit a brick wall in every direction :rotfl:~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0 -
it doesn't sound like any of the above, how odd! I'll let you know how I get on anyway, I might get lucky!January - Nintendo Wii, 2 x Lush bath bombs :j
Feb - Pink Floyd CD0 -
