You should maybe try local garages and repair centres rather than the big name ones. Just walk in there and ask, the fact that you are 25 might give you an advantage because you should have a bit of sense regarding dangerous machinery.

Remember if you dont ask you dont get!

The Dept of Employement and Learning is now offering a new Programme called ApprenticeshipNI which is open to all ages. I'm not sure of the exact address of the website but if you go into the Dept website or google Apprentciehip NI you should get lots of info on the programme and possible training providers. You could also contact you local Careers Office (usually based in the Jobs and Benefits offices) or use their website for further info: www.careersserviceni.com.
