nectar points @ sainsburys

hi all

hopefully this is the right forum for this

i used to shop every week at sainsburys and would hand my card over to gain nectar points. when i ever forgot it, they said i could bring my receipt in at my next shop and they would credit the points

it's years since ive tried to do this as we rarely use sainsburys but my OT has been doing some shopping near her work duing the summer but ive had the sole nectar card on me and thus no nectar points

does anyone know whether sainsburys still credit the points if you take back your receipts?

yes they do - just take it to the customer service desk and they do it there... not sure if there's a time limit though!

You can but i believe you have something like 2 weeks so if you have 2weeks worth of receipts then get them put on your card, you can get a second card for the nectar account

Im not sure if its nationwide but at our local Sainsburys you have 14 days, but can only redeem two reciepts in one visit to customer services at a time

thanks to the three of you for replying, will give this a go early next week then, i dont think they add up to much but as tesco would say every little helps

good idea about the 2nd nectar card, will check out the website and try to get a second one ordered
