Just had OR inerview

Just had OR interview and i can say it was not the nicest thing i have ever done  anyway he went through SOA and said he had no interest in my car as i need it for work. I have to pay £75.00 for 36 months and will be discharged within a year.

Any comments (is this normal)

Thanks

If you have more than £99 a month surplus cash after all your living expenses have been taken care of then yep its an IPA......standard practice really & usually discharge in 1yr sometimes earlier if your lucky

well done the worse bits all over & done now

Sounds good to me. Now you can really relax and enjoy a debt free future.Congrats on keeping the car. You don't sound too happy any reason why that should be?. Tell me to mind my own business if you like:o .D

It was never going to be nice. I think when we go to court, we think that was ok not soo bad,it kinda lulls us in to a false sense of security. Then wham the OR interview. Discussing all our mistakes, how we got into debt, what we spent it on ect, all to a total stranger. Some of us never tell our nearest and dearest let alone a stranger:eek: .Totally humiliating in my opinion.Who said bc was easy was having a laugh.

That said it's over now purple, may take a while for it to sink in or at least until the postman stops rattlng your letter box or the phone stops ringing:rotfl: . Get the best nights sleep you have in ages tonight and you will feel a whole lot better tomorrow.DX

Congratulations now definitely the hard part is over with. The OR will send you some forms to fill in (IPOQ questionnaire), get that back to him ASAP and hopefully you will be put forward to early discharge (sorry for mentioning it again Dalip!).

Do you feel 75 is a fair amount to pay, if not don't sign it yet and come back on here for advice. If your circumstances change you must let them know.

    Have a great weekend!

Glad the OR interview went well.

My OR wanted to give me an IPA but I asked him to send a break down of what he had disallowed and we bartered until he finally agreed that no I didn't have enough surplus :D, so I left him on my Christmas card list :rotfl:

    Hi pph,

I'm glad you've go through the worst of it - I've got it all yet to come! I hope you dont mind me asking but roughly what was your surplus income on your SOA? And is the surplus based on your income vs expeniture after all debts are wiped out?
    Thanks
