FREE Who do you think you are? magazine (family tree mag)

I don't know if this has been posted already (I can't see it if it has been), but there was a pull-out leaflet in Radio Times this week to celebrate the return of Who do you think you are? and there is a reader offer in there for a FREE copy of the BBC's magazine that accompanies the series.

To claim your free copy you just need to call 0844 848 0096. They try and make you take out a £1 for 3 issues offer (by direct debit) but you can refuse it (I did!) and just get the 1 free issue.

If you do sign up to the 3 for a £1 offer you can use this landline number to call and cancel rather than the non-geographic one.
might make the call alot cheaper (especially if you use a mobile or have free landline minutes)

You can probably use it to take up the offer as well as it goes through to magazine sales and customer services, Anyone tried this yet?
I used it when my last free magazine didn't turn up and the customer service dept were able to send my free copy out.

It's in the mag section but twice is better than not at all!

I took up this offer, having declined the 3 for a pound, but didn't receive it. Now I have been sent an "URGENT" letter telling me to "Act now! You are on your last issue of Who Do You Think You Are? Magazine".

Well I'm not so I shan't.

hi babs98 i also received an 'urgent'letter yesterday seems like they are sending these out to those of us who only wanted the free mag & not the 3 for £1 offer

I also got this. However the magazine did subsequently arrive.
I assume it's something to do with lead times on the subscription payments.
