hi all, was just wondering if every one had received the latest mailing as I haven't as yet, I know a few people received theirs in the last week or so, is it sent out by region ?
I'm in the South and received mine about 2-3 weeks ago....."Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
:T Firstly a big thank you to all posters on here - had a fab shop today. Went in armed with list with prices all worked out so i could get best use of vouchers!!
really wanted the no 7 gwp so was brave and did this first - paid at the pharmacy no probs. had been worried about how to grab one of the gwp from the no 7 stand with eagle eyed SA and then head to the back ofthe store for suncream but no need to worry as no 7 till broken in Woking today so no SA there ready to pounce!!
Shop 1
no 7 firm your body sun lotion spf 25 and spf 15 both £12 but BOGOF
GWP
used pinkie so £7 to pay and both vouchers back
I know I could have got the gwp with a cheaper combo but I already have tan maintainer and dark spot face stuff from the last GWP!! and I will actually use the suncream at some point.
shop 2
cotton wool - 2 for £2 saving £1.10
sanctuary skin balm £4.95
face powder £1.99
no 7 lip gloss 95p on clearance down from £3.95
TS LH intensive conditioner £0
TS brunette glosser £1.01
used tillspit and mag voucher so £5.95 to pay saving £18.02 and yet more vouchers back!
shop 3
no 7 rainbow palette £4.25 on clearance
free as redeemed pinkie
woking had about 4 more of these left on the clearance but no bronzer ones which I'm still after especially for free!
shop 4
no 7 eye shadow brush £5.75
used pinkie so 75p to pay
shop 5
no 7 nail and cuticle care £6.25
used pinkie so £1.25 to pay
shop 6
TD eye cream £5.99
used tillspit so 99p to pay
shop 7
no 7 lip brush £7.50
used pinkie so £2.50 to pay
went a bit wrong here as looked at wrong SEL and thought the lip brush was £5.75 oops. think the SA was losing the will to live then though so didn't change it. Not sure if you can change brushes? anyone know? will go in a hamper of no 7 goodies for my aunt otherwise.
none of the no7 anti cellulite stuff for £5 in stock.
and hands up - who is the other woking bootser out there this morning? cos when I got the TS glitch there were 2 of the intensive conditioners left and I went to have a look on my way out as had picked up another mag and they were gone!!
so I have tons of goodies that I have to hide from DHand I still have 3 of each voucher to use :T no more bootsing till friday for me though so just hoping there are some free goodies left by then!!
woking had TD wipes x 3, about 5 of each of the toners and cleansers as well.
hello fellow Woking Bootser
Which SAs do you use in that store as I seem to be having terrible trouble with my Bootsing there! I have tried a young girl at the pharmacy till, but another SA came a watched over her shoulder. The same thing happened with the lovely SA at the Arden counter - the no7 dragon SA came over :eek:0 -

sorry, thought id read on this thread to leave it for others to benefit from also
Someone did post that, but it's the kind of thing that people really shouldn't post -- it just happened that those of us who winced at the first mention didn't say anything at the time. If and when some Bootsers decide to do something iffy like that, it's best to not post it on the open forum. Not only could it get the forum into trouble, but someone else who reads the post and tries it may get caught. They could lose their Boots card and points, and they'd surely be embarrassed beyond belief.
I'm not trying to jump on you about this at all as you were just caught up in the Bootsing fervor and kindly sharing your finds, but that's the point -- lots of newbie Bootsers come on here all the time and it's easy to get caught up in what you're reading and think any deal you can wrangle is fab, even when some of it isn't a good idea at all. Impressionable young minds read this thread, lol! Please be careful, and if you take risks, please do it on the down low so others don't copy you!0 -

hello mrsw : )
I tend to use the pharmacy if getting a glitch that might go wrong like the no 7 suncare and gwp which I've seen a few people have been told they can't have. Lovely girl on there today - said to me oh the suncare has gone through as one free so why don't you use the pink voucher on that and you'll get another one that you can use on that gift set? Had to mumble thanks but that's a free gift with the suncream.... while going "phew" under my breath as she wasn't going to refuse it for being under a £20 spend!!
Otherwise I just go to the main tills in the middle - there are a couple of older ladies on there that my 2 year old manages to charm so they don't always see what's going through the till!
Of course that then means that they recognise him again when I go round to do another shop! I'm sure they just think I'm some sad woman that spends her life in Boots :rotfl:0 -
