Well I'm insured on my sister's car, but she's not overly pleased about having to share it :o:p Hopefully she'll change her mind when I can pick her up from nights out etc! I'm pretty nervous about driving far on my own atm, so I will start with the retail park (which I can't get to on the bus!) and work my way up to the further away ones! Anywhere must be more voucher friendly than my local :rotfl:
Hiya Tiara ~ did think you hadn't been round lately, hope you have got the use of a car now you have passed your test ? Perhaps you might be able to find a more voucher friendly store now;)

Re Mascara ~ I think it is all colours, my store had none on the shelf so can't be certain, however I assume that as there were none left they were all reduced.
    Hi Iiee,
Bless you, of course you can have a lift to the retail park! Try to stick at the driving though- you will get there, though maybe you'll have to put it on hold for a bit if your bump makes things difficult!
Oxford is dreadful at putting up offer signs  Please let me know if you do try the mascara :p

I might try this later, although I will have DH with me and he is easily embarrassed when the vouchers don't work. :D I have noticed Oxford are a bit rubbish about putting signs out for reductions - eg they didn't advertise the 1/3 off men's time delay the last few weeks, and they haven't got a sign about the 1/3 off baby botanics at the moment, but I've tried both of these and they do scan at the reduced price.

Congratulations on passing your test! :T I'm a 2x failure here, can you give me a lift to the retail park? :D

Ooooooh that's good to know. Did this go through ok? No beeps?

I did this in Woking this morning. The till beeped but the lad said he would get the points added on. So I did it twice, paid £10 and got 1000 points added on manually. I'm happy !
  • Aargh! I'm trying to stay out of Boots this month as there's really nothing that I need, but the temptation of two tillspits for a £5 phone top-up is very strong. £5 on phone, and a free mascara, TD item and 200 points, all for a fiver, somebody please stop me :D :rotfl:

On the subject of shoplifters, I have a friend who manages a small supermarket, every now and then they have a run of shoplifting. Usually it's people who are trying to raise money to feed a drug addiction and they go for small high value items which they can sell on, such as batteries and those extortionately expensive men's razor refills. Addiction being what it is I guess it's totally understandable why they do it but very upsetting for the SA's who are looking on unable to intervene.

For those of you have SA's that refuse manual entry, here is(save all the emails lol) a sheet of each mitchum vouchers. The barcode has been cleaned up and scans like a dream. If they do not scan then the scanner they are using really is a bad one! You must save these to file as bmp or jpg. If you do not save these to file and try printing you will just get silly little ones etc

MITCHUM 50% X 6 You must save to file first. If given options then choose: Print landscape and choose 'shrink to fit' when printing

MITCHUM £1 X 8 Again you must save to file first. If given options then choose: Print Portrait and choose 'shrint to fit' when printing.

However most programmes for 'photo' printing of a bmp or jpg should just print them automatically without having to choose the options etc

    :)

EDIT: Added MARIE CLAIRE too...barcodes have been cleaned and are 4 per page without all the pictures etc, so you can use one in boots and rest in tesco or whatever, they again need the same treatment as above and if given options choose again 'shrint to fit' and print Landscape :)

No 7 Bronzing compact (like the rainbow pallette ) DID NOT work with the No 7 voucher today.

Also tried to use the 250 points from GWP, that hd to be added manually (SA on the next till did it whilst i was paying for my bits) so when i queried the voucher not having worked with the pallette and then getting a refund the SA forgot about teh extra points taht had been added! So got 250 points for nothing!

Also managed to get the last Johnson and Johnson bedtime set for £3.75 so very pleased with that.

Kandoo pump soap was also reduced to 88p, on normal shelf though within baby rather than in clearance.

    HTH someone
    Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....
