What do the rest of you do when doing multiple transactions? try to just go every day and do one or two shops? go to different tills? join the que again? Has anyone ever had any problem with acting suspiciously?Woman: "If you were my husband, I would poison your tea."

(Sanctuary): I also have a sanctuary spf 15, which I am still using around the house (I can't bear to throw stuff away), and it is way to liquid for my skin, it makes it very shiny the minute I apply it.
Personally I thnink boots has not paid enough attention to this skincare range (the body range smells lovely and is really nice). I think the stuff is overpriced and not as good as the time delay stuff which is cheaper. I got some of the skincare sanctuary stuff last year during the weekend bag offer and the times voucher. and before the voucher came out, I paid "real" money for it, which I deeply regretted. For example I had a collagen boosting mask, which after a couple of months lost the scent. It smelled terribly. But again, I kept using it. Need to learn to throw stuff away.
Speaking of MASKS: any recommendations of masks to be had (cheap, of course) with the current vouchers? TIA
i haven't caught up with all the posts yet from today but I love the Sanctuary Spa Warming Charcoal mask. it does what it says on the tin so to speak and my skin feels nice and smooth after really hydrated.0 -
meant to add i think it's £7.xx but i've used a voucher for it already.0

:D Thank you!!
First can I say that the flash of the camera has made the colours much more vibrant and shiny than they were in real life! It's also made the eyeshadow blend in more with the eyeliner, so it didn't look as good as the pic makes it look
I used a bunch of colours for the main shadow on my top lid, not really worth mentioning they were just a cheapy palette and I put greens, blues and lilacs on there to see if I could match the No7 colour. I could not. :rotfl:
Then I used a line of black liquid eyeliner (any would do) on the top of my eyelid, (a bit shaky towards the corner there!) and above it, a line of No7 Stay Perfect Eyeliner in Jewel above the black. It's easy to touch up with the black over it if you make a mistake (and vice versa), which I did
Then I put a thick line of the No7 liner under the eye, which as buffy points out, is the hardest part, because no matter what you do it sticks to your bottom lashes like glue! Luckily you can pull it off with your fingertips reasonably well afterwards. Like any liquid liner, it doesn't smudge, so I sort of went over the bottom with a bit more of the normal eyeshadow I used on the top lid and smudged that over with my finger, so the line wasn't as harsh iyswim?
Then put mascara on the bottom and top lashes, to hide the green from the liquid liner!
Hope I made that clear enoughBuffy_the_Vampire_Bat wrote: »HiyaSorry, not been online properly since Saturday so have only just spotted this. Still catching up with thread so I guess plenty of Bootsers have already given their suggestions, but here are mine anyway :rotfl:
Turquoise is one of my favourite colours, so I am a sucker for anything turquoise when it comes to makeup...
I currently use:
1) The turquoise from the No7 Rainbow palette (this year's summer edition)
2) Or...the blues from the No7 Stay Perfect eyeshadow palette - Beside The Sea...
3) Or...a No17 single eyeshadow called Viva Diva...
4) Or a Collection 2000 loose eyeshadow (Dazzle Me I think the range is called) in Heavenly
The 17 and C2000 ones are both quite shimmery and strong (which I like!)
There is a Bourjois one too which I currently don't have, but think it's called Turquoise Insolite (sp?)
Sometimes I just use the Stay Perfect eyeliner without additional eye colour, but I prefer to use it with some colour as well.
I have to say that I am SERIOUSLY IMPRESSED with your application of the Stay Perfect Eyeliner on your lower lids (beneath your lower lashes) I find it really tricky to apply it there without painting my eyelashes turquoise as well - have to have a cotton bud on standby to catch any drips on my eyelashes
I had never thought of using black eyeliner as well with it, fab idea, thank you
Aww, thanks! As I said, mascara really helps for disguising your green lashes! Just go for it under your eyelashes, it was pretty messy, but easy to clean up iyswim
Was so swamped under the weight of 50,000 shampoos, mitchums (joking lol! I only got 6, didn't abuse the glitch!!) and time delay that I couldn't choose a turquoise shadow, did try loads (my hand was covered in green, which managed to transfer to most of my clothes) but thanks so much for your suggestions, I will pick one next time. I definitely tried that collection 2000 shadow though, it was probably my No1 contender!
Thanks again everyone for your kind words
p.s. I hope they haven't stopped the mitchum vouchers! confusing mixed messages as usual from boots about this :rolleyes:One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you!
