Do you mind saying what city or store this was in? I wonder how fast it will take other stores to follow suit, as other people have used the Mitchum today. And I wonder why they had to go through having the manager come down; it would've been far nicer for the SA to explain it!

So I ended up leaving it, and even then she tried to keep my vouchers!

Then tried to get some Sanctuary face masks with the facial voucher (paid upstairs lol) but the moisturising one hasn't worked with the till spit so got charged full price for that

It's a real pain as that was the last Olay hand cream on the shelf (wonder why they've all disappeared if you can't use the till spit on them :rolleyes: ).

I don't object to them being strict on the t&c's- you're probably not meant to be able to get the handcream anyway with the voucher as it does say facial, but there is no need to be so rude!! Oh I would love SS tills so much, at least they can't be rude to you if it goes wrong :rotfl:

If that were me sweetie, I would report that SA, there is no need to be so rude!! She could've just said, 'I'm sorry I don't think you can use your voucher because its already reduced'. I know how you feel, this is how I felt a few weeks back, when a SA was rude to me, but don't give up - for every bad or rude SA there is a lovely one too *big huggles*

Rubbish boots trip today
still didnt get the no7 gwp ,no no7 on offer at all not even anything reduced
wouldnt take the huggies vouchers when tried it yet sis tired 5 mins later and they took 3!!
no till spits to womble so made sister give me hers got no7 mens shaving gel and td exfoliate stuff.shelves were bare so must be some more boosters in worksop somewhere.
checked the nc as i wanted the new yellow bag to mathc the pink one, None there!!
no johnsons sets either or other reduced baby stuff.

All in all a rubbish plus i ended up payin out £140 for a new bed as dd jumped about on mine that much she broke it.:mad:

Just tried to pick up the old 17 gwp (vintage one I think?) and it came up on till as £3.99. I also had an eyeshadow for £3.19 and the free 17 item wys £3 ..... what did I do wrong? lol

Mitchum Tin-tin has checked on the 'store net' alerts...this is where the boots management pull off all updates regarding any store alerts...there is nothing regarding mitchum on this and it is the only way in which store managers recieve their information from head office.
