Oooh just had a tooth out for the first time in many many years. It doesn't half hurt!
The really annoying thing is, I had a root canal done on it earlier in the year - over 2 hours of drilling and filling, but it's never been right, so I went back today & he said the tooth had a crack in it & there was nothing else he could do, so I went through all that for nothing. Also much cheaper to have one out than filled
Still oozing blood too (I'm sure you all wanted to know that!)

Cheers for that Wokkster! (not too sure about you being a good girl though!!)
Cheeky Chicken - EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!
Just the very thought of dentists makes me feel really rather ill. I have had a bad time with them in the past & tend not to go unless I am really in pain!
Neat alcohol should numb any pain though! The Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word!0 -
 oh cheeky that sounds awful, I have a dentist phobia, and last time I went for a filling I had to have that many injections when I had finished(did ask the dentist when he was going to start and he had done it) I went dribbling down to reception to make another apointment and coudlnt get my words out:rotfl: was a dribbling wreck, dh was laughing at me when I was smoking a fag, cos I couldnt get it in my mouth properly and threw it in the end:rolleyes:to be updated:;)0

ooh cheeky, I have sympathy, I had the same happen a couple of months ago, I was having to have some root canal work but was struggling to have it done cos of my ME/CFS as I got to aching sat in the dentist chair for so long, in the end I asked for my tooth to be out - would rather have the pain for a few days than have more root canal work!
Hope the pain goes soonWeight Loss - 102lb0 -

Dalkirst - Im glad I don't venture out of comps often (because it is the nicest, friendliest board) cos I just found out we compers are hostile, trolls and wind up merchants!  It's amazing anyone stays if we are like that!
