    another £10 from 2 book sales Im struggling to motivate myself at the moment cos i am so strapped for cash to pay the bills let alone save

    although i have a running total it just seems to get swallowed up

    feeling miserable

    but one day will be sat in a savings account i suppose

    keep going guys its rather quiet around here

  • Hello all, congrats on actually taking part in this...i dont really have the bottle as im always short every month anyway! Me? Save!? I dont think so! lol but i will keep reading up on how you all do, and if anyone has any tips on making money i'd like to read them too! thanks, and good luck!

    Hi Mama You don't have to put the money in a savings account, but its really motivating to keep a tally of how much extra money you make.

    Thanks for the proverbial kick Wilf. I will list some more items on Monday. Couldn't face it the last few days. That said my sister and I are off to do a boot sale tomorrow, looks like the weather might go our way after all. (Touch wood) I'll be glad of the extra cash and clearing the space in my room too. Anything left over will be going to my local horse shelter shop so everyone's a winner.

    i dont manage to save either but it is good to keep a tally although once i clear my debts will be nice to put challenge money in a savings account !! no sight of that yet though or for a while

    Just a quick update from me: today I've received a cheque for £30 from a share-save I've cancelled and a letter from Southern electric saying we're due a rebate of £32.88 as a result of changing energy suppliers, so that's another £62.88 :j:j

    Balance June 2015 £26,046 (paid off 32%)

  • Another £2.86 int on an acc, plus I'm gonna 'cheat' and put the £120 OH and I got from the lovely Gordon Brown in, because it went straight on OH's CC...
