I am not sleeping so well at the moment and the corners of my fitted sheets seem to keep coming off in the night due to all my tossing and turning.
I am sure that at one point in the past I had some fitted sheets that had elastic all the way around (not just on the corners) that always stayed on no matter how active you were in bed
I just can't for the life of me remember where I bought them from - has anyone got any ideas?
My next port of call is the elastic clips from betterware or wherever but I thought I would try and find these sheets first off!
Can anybody help?

If anyone can I would love to know too. Always end up with OH sheet stripped due to spinning!

All of my fitted sheets have elastic all the way round - they come mostly from Wilkinsons or Tescos, I think.
I wouldn't buy those clips from betterware unless I had to though - I'm pretty sure a DIY job would do it! Things that spring to mind:
If you have some elastic kicking around you could get a long blunt needle and thread it through the seams.
You could sew some elastic or ribbon or even something from the ragbag to the corners about 10 inches down so that you have something more sturdy to 'tuck in'.
You could try safety-pinning the corners to the underside of the matress.
You could make your own betterware thingies - they don't look like anything special, just braces with different length of elastic - try a charity shop for braces and butcher them?
That said the grippits are only £2.99 per pack from betterware right now, and they're buy one get one free, so if you don't have elastic in and don't fancy sewing or trying to pin the sheets, it probably wouldn't break the bank to try some.0 -
Lidl sells fitted sheets (jersey ones) from time to time. They have elastic all the way round.0

I have had jersey sheets before and they just seemed to stretch all out of shape! Or do you mean flannelette? Actually, I think flannelette would be too warm for me at the moment anyhow.
silvercharming - tesco could be the place...it's the kind of place I would buy from. Do you normally opt for the finest range or just the bog standard ones?
Might have a pop into town to have a scout around wilkinsons in a minute.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

I always opt for the cheapest, so it would only have been from the finest if they were reduced to clearWhen you shop for them, ask customer services if you can have a quick look in the packet before you buy. They are normally happy to let you do that, both at Tesco and Wilkinson's.

I bought a fitted sheet from Asda last week and that had elastic all the way round.
I think one of the problems with the fitted sheets can be when it's designed for a 'normal' mattress but you actually have a very deep luxury one - then they have to be pulled really tight and easily come off when you turn over.0 -
Thanks Olliebeak - asda is another possibility, I used to shop there a lot but I don't live close to one now.
My problem is relatively recent (more recent than my last mattress change) so I think it is more to do with the elastic on my sheets having seen better days, the heat and me constantly fidgetting around to get comfortable.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
I've got a couple from Tesco and Next and I think one from Argos. The ones from Tesco are Next are better quality than the Argos one but no different from each other if you see what I mean!
My oh fidgets alot and they used to slip off all the time but have been better since we got one of those feather mattress protectors (came with a duvet we bought).0 -
All out fitted sheets are elasticated all the way around and have been from Dunelm and John Lewis (latter a bit more expensive, but excellent quality and really do last pretty much forever)You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that
