Mortgage Brokers Fee's
Comments
-
Just a point from looking at the Natural Mortgage Solutions website - it states their fee (typically £250) is payable on application. So this is an upfront payment.
In terms of good/bad advisers - I have never known an adviser say they are bad or offer a bad service, so unfortunately you only find out by doing business with them or by recommendations from friends/family.
Advisers claiming to be better than others so they can charge a fee is all down to their own opinions. I have worked for lenders/estate agents - a Tamworth based, household name broker who advertise lots on daytime tv who charge up to 3% as a fee and now a whole of market broker. So I have been at the fee free end of the market, the high "rip-off" fees and what I consider to reasonable fee level (£199 - £495 on completion) and I would say that the service received with them was worse at the most expensive end of the market.
As I said earlier I would speak to a broker recommended by friends/family if I was you.0
