Free ipod ?

Hi All

I recieved a citylink card through my door 3days ago stating that they tried to deliver a parcel, i hadnt purchased or entered any comps so i couldnt understand what it might be . Phoned citylink to try to find out who the sender was, they told me it was A V promotions , so phoned them to find out what they were trying send me .A nice chap on the end of the phone said that i have an ipod waiting to be delivered ,told him that i hadnt ordered an ipod. He said it was something to do with barclays credit card ,i havent registered any details with barclays so how have i got a free ipod :rolleyes:

Has anybody had one of these ? or is it just one those scams to get a credit card

Might be worth contacting Barclays to make sure nobody has set up a credit card under your name...

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Barclays don't dish out rewards very often... I'm reminded of that every time I get a statement through the door and see the pitiful amount of interest I get on my current account.

No , never completed cosmetic research questionnaire . I dont have a clue where its come from I am having re delivered on tues so should have more info :j

Yep excatly the same, mine came on tuesday its a silver 1gb ipod shuffle. Also dont recall asking for a barcalys card. anyway its free so im happy:j
