OP - is this a remortgage or a purchase?0

Go back to the seller and offer 140,000 on the basis prices have fell since the valuation.0

We thought it was nearer to 160 and 2 estate agents confirmed this, one said even 165+.
The whole mortgage was agreed and we'd paid the fees but there is the massive difference in the valuation.
What can we do?
:rotfl:
Why oh why do you want to over pay for a property. House prices are falling fast, it makes sense to get the property as cheap as posible to reduce the amount of negative equity you are going to suffer.:exclamati:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

WHO is the fool?..you for believing a bank can undervalue a house in todays market. if i was you i would thank the valuer and he has saved you a lot of money you would of lost..some people just dont get it do they? undervalued house????? my god there is one born every day...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:if you asked a turkey do they like Christmas what do you think the answer will be...same with estate agents last people i would ask about property values..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

OP Where are you!!???0 -
It's a remo so the comments about purchases can be wound back in (see an older post by OP relating to a remo in september).0

So the OP was feeling miffed because the valuer has stolen his 'hard won' equity.
He posted on here & now is even more miffed.
Though I could be wrong............ it happens once in a while..............0 -
