have spent the last three hours, looking at spreadsheets, snowballing sheets, numbers, numbers, numbers. I seem to not be able to 'live' at the moment, every waking hour (and there are too many of them) are filled with numbers, sums, debts, bills etc.
How do I squeeze in some light relief...????

have a look at the piccies of guinea pigs on Wol2's thread, they make me smile.
Or vent about the numbers on here, so that you can think about other things when you are not online. Go for a walk around the block might help too. Gets you out and you can make it a challenge to spot say 10 yellow cars or something.
Have you posted your situation on here, to get some help and support? If not then we are here. Post up a statement of affairs and we will see what savings we can spot.
If you have just had your lightbulb moment, then thinking about it a lot may not be surprising, but it does get better as you take more control over your situation

Make a plan. It could be the most ridiculous unachievable ultimate goal, but in making that plan you will identify the steps that would take you towards that goal, and you can almost bet that the steps are ones that will get you moving forward with the numbers game.

Ive not slept either. Panicking about christmas already. Been up since 5am just trying to work out what to cut back on. I have zero money left every week after paying bills and have to try and make £30.00 last a week for food. Not easy for 3kids and myself.
I am trying to have a LBM but am to shattered to think straight at the moment.0 -

Thanks everyone, I love Christmas so don't want to cancel. But will take your advice and make a bullet plan today, not now because I am going to feed the ducks with my DD to get out in the sun and enjoy!!!
I have had LBM and have a very tight SOA after making many changes to trim the £400 deficit off, things like changing the mortgage to int only, cancelling redundancy insurance, new quotes for all other insurances, meal planning and moving bank accounts.
Now the time has come to focus on paying the debts off, I think it is almost the inactivity after all that flurry of organising things that is causing me to fret!! Mad I know.
Anyway, I have woken this morning with a positive head, we can afford all min payments and a little more each month, and that is the best we can do.
Thanks to everyone, and although I love Christmas I haven't got to thinking about it yet, so that will be the focus of my plan.
