Whats the best way to get dollars changed into Euros, we need some euros for our holiday in 6 weeks.

If you change it over here then you probably have to change it in to sterling and then to Euros - thus losing out on commission both times.

Your best bet is to probably change it when you're over there or find a friend who's got some old Euros left and who is going to the US(lol)

US dollar v sterling is at a 2 year low so it is a good time to change dollars to sterling but on the other hand euro v sterling is very low at the minute too. Might be worth taking them with you and changing them when over there as anywhere in the Uk will have to change from dollars to sterling to euros, probably charging twice and crossing over too many exchange rates is expensive.
