Need 1600x1200 TFT monitor (20"+). Whats the cheapest?

The boards are full of bargain 17 and 19" TFTs, but what about the next resolution up - 1600x1200 offered by the 20" and above panels?
I'm not too worried about brand name, just need this for desktop applications but it must have a DVI input and preferably the ability to be secured using a "Kensington" type lock.
Ebuyer's cheapest option is around £330 excluding VAT and delivery. Has anyone seen better?

I would be careful about buying cheap because in the case of TFT's and plasmas, cheap tends to be nasty.
What are you using the monitor for? A lot of TFTs suffer from severe ghosting problems making them unsuitable for games/movies etc.
I took delivery of a 24inch Dell TFT that is just magnificant. Had brilliant reviews and while being almost 2x the price of ebuyer, is better than Apples 1000+ monitors.
Its on special at overclockers.co.uk...for about 6xx including delivery which took about 3 days from time of order.0 -

I'm only using it for business applications and programming. I can't imagine a TFT having a ghosting problem with a digital DVI feed, it just doesn't make sense for a 1:1 native resolution display. If it did have a problem like that it would get sent straight back.
I can't imagine any TFT available today can be any worse than the one I got 4 years ago (which is still excellent for my uses), so I thought I try and find the cheapest and see what its like.0 -
Hitachi CML200UXWB Black 20" LCD Monitor for £199 (excl VAT & delivery). Comes in at around £250 incl VAT + del - definitely the cheapest unless someone can prove me wrong!0

Sorry comdw, I don't have one of these to comment on.
What's interesting though is that www.scan.co.uk still sells this model for £910.63 (incl VAT) !
If you are near to nexnix's base in Horsham you may be able to see the monitor on demo. Alternatively the company also sell on ebay. It's available now as a Buy It Now at £233 + £13 delivery (total cost £246 incl VAT). Looking at completed sales, it looks like plenty of people have bought this item in the past - so you could perhaps try e-mailing some of them to see what they thought of it? Looking at the feedback comments it all seems positive.
The only review on the web I found was one on https://www.cadalyst.com (U.S.A.)dated Feb 2004 at a time when the screen was selling for a hefty US$999. It was rated 4.5 out of 5 and reported as having excellent picture quality. The reviewer deducted a 1/4 point for slightly off-true colour reproduction (supports 16.7 million colours) and another 1/4 point for having slightly fiddly controls (a little awkwardly located in his opinion on bottom left).
I can't find any comments on how it performs with fast moving images such as in gaming, but from your previous comments I guess that's not a big issue. Its response time rating of 25ms seems to be comparable to others including the Dell equivalent.
