Testers

I received this email this evening and thought that it might be of interest to others. I can't remember registering the first time though...
Apologies if already posted.

Dear would-be testers,
We’ve had terrible computer gremlins and are worried that some tester applications may have been lost in a cyber void.

If you emailed a tester application in response to the Origins mail shot on 24th July, please would you email me again so I can ensure you are on our database.

Please ensure that you email your response to me at jessiel@mac.com (i.e. don't simply hit 'reply' to this mailshot. Email me direct. Thank you!).
Please note that I won't be able to repond for a couple of weeks but will be in touch as soon as possible.

Kind Regards
Jessie Lawrence

yes i get those ebay emails too, you have to be extremely careful, they even have the same ebay banner, the main way to tell the spammers from ebay is the fact that it will say 'hello ebay member' on spam rather than 'hello...whatever your ebay identity is'. Its the same for paypal too.

They seem to have a Jessie Lawrence working for them according to the page the page that was linked above by debsy.

But they do want £30 for "admin" and postage of the £150 worth of goodies they were given for FREE by the make up companies.
Now if they were doing it for free like the other companies that want testers...:D

I actually did because when I googled the name and company they appeared legit. I have applied for so many things and have lost track, wasn't sure if it was one I had applied for in the past.

I have tested for beauty bible and that is the name of the person who coordinates it all. Yes, they do charge a fee, I think mine was £27.50 last time however personally I thought it was worth it as I got some really great products to test and you can get really high end stuff like Origins, REN, Lancome etc etc etc. Also note that you get full size products not just a tiny sample pot.

It's not for everyone but I was really happy as I got well over £100 worth of stuff to try. Maybe it should be free, but as long as everyone knows the score then you can make an informed choice, but The Beauty Bible is defintely not a scam
Back to comping! July wins: Frylight August wins: Pixar DVD, Diesel Watch,£75 hamper brioche products September wins bath soak

Thanks to everyone who posts comps and help
