With the dollar on the verge of collapse there was only one way to go for the manipulators of the land of the free (& almost every other nation)...................

Well, the only way I console myself is that I got myself a Mac Air two months back from the US and still managed to pay close to the 1.9 exchange rate, which means I have got quite a bargain (saved £250 on the Mac Air against sterling prices)...

While inherent price differences still mean the US is more favourable, if the sterling continues to drop at this rate, that gap is soon going to be non-existent...

Will be interesting to see what happens. The dollar should be even more trashed than it is - but you could say the same about the pound and defnitely the Euro, which was highly overrated.

I think that ultimately the Far Eastern currencies will come out of this stronger and the Western currencies will lose a lot of their status.

Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.
