IVA Question

Hi Folks,
Just wanted to know to pick your brains on an iva question.
I have been on an iva for a year and a half, and i have currently had to move residence, now in doing this i have lost my internet access, i informed my supervisor about this and they have come back to say that they have no problems with me getting an internet service provider in my new place as long as it doesnt affect my current payments, which is understandable. But i am wondering when i approach anyone about getting internet access they will have to do a credit check, and this will affect me getting any internet access at all wont it?
The internet access i had was under my housemates name in my last residence.
The reason i need the internet, is to do with work and job applications.

A help would great.

Many Thanks Bill
