Hi Everyone,
Im currently sitting with around £5200 of debt from credit cards and a loan. I recently seeked the help of a debt management company who are helping me out, they take £130 a month to distribute to my creditors and it has been a great relief getting the help I desperately needed. I also owe around £2500 on a loan from a family member and £590 in catalogue bills. I choice to try and pay off the catalogue bills myself as the reduced payments to the debt management company has left me with enough extra each month that I can still make payments.
Though with the credit crunch, I am still finding it tight and I am always looking for ways to make a few extra pounds.
So to sum it up, I joined here to speak to people in the same situation and help people if I can.

Do you pay a fee to the debt management company you are using or is it free?

Oh sorry forgot about that the fee is £30, its only £100 that goes to the creditors, but it has helped me out alot as some of my card payments were £80 alone and I managed to max out 6 of them!!0
