I prefer the wooden coat hangers and got my last lot from our local Red Cross shop..........they'd had some donated and aren't allowed to use them so I just gave a donation.
I remember after my Dad died we had a job to get rid of all his coathangers.
Maybe a second hand/house clearance shop might have some ?Mary

there a clothing shop near me always has them outside in a box its called select , you can buy them for about £1 for 10 in the likes of wilkinsons poundland pounstretcher/instore so they not very much to replace if you shop around
:T I love MSE ! :j0 -
your local freecycle site on yahoo will have loads just put a wanted add on for hangers and you will get loads. Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear

There is someone on myskip giving away:
BAG OF COATHANGERS
I Have a large sack of mixed coathangers looking for a new home
But they are in London, so I guess unless you go to London on a regular basis it maybe a bit of a trip for some hangers !!, I got some nice wooden ones in Matalan the other dat £3 for 6 I think0 -
As previous poster said - try Freecycle. I put a wanted post on there for coathangers and got a huge bin liner full the same day! They were destined for the tip so the person was only too happy for me to collect them from her!0

As has already been said try your local Freecycle, my local one has had loads on offer recently.
