I was wondering if someone could help me... I am looking for a way of seeing what effect overpayments will have on my overall amount owing. I have a first direct fixed at a rate that is no longer available so i am not able to look at illustrations. Can anyone help?

You could try using the snowball calculator - it's usually for credit card etc debts, but don't see why you couldn't put in your mortgage, and the rate and mess about with the figures of how much extra you want to pay off
