6 year drop off - beginning or end?

Stupid question, or is it, I'm confusing myself here!
I've got a default (Satisfied) that is near the beginning of the 6 years (i.e. the 6th birthday as it were is approaching)
Will the default drop off at the start or the end of the 6th year?
I'm guessing the beginning otherwise it would be classed as the 7th but I'm thinking too much about it now and confusing myself!

It will drop off exactly 6 years from the date defaulted, so if your report says default was 3rd November 1999, it will drop off 3rd Nov (or 4th) 2005.Mortgage-free wannabe!0
