Basic Bank account with debit/visa card

Can anyone help please,
I need to open a basic account with a debit/visa card thats not connected to any of my debts.

Ive got a Nationwide account atm, so that one will be out when CCCS
go ahead with my debts.

My debts are with halifax, Bank of scotland, cahoot, abbey.

And I live in Somerset, so no Yorkshire bank round here.

    I'm just starting my DMP with CCCS and my new account is a LloydsTSB Cash Acc. I have the same creditors as you, apart from Cahoot, so you'd need to check whether they're associated?

    I chose this account as the card is a Visa Debit card, rather than Electron - although have read many posts from people saying electron is much more widely accepted now than it used to be.
