Me too, me too. Slightly different take, same sentiment.

We’ve only just begun,
To pay back our credit cards,
The new rates have hit us very hard
We can’t pay our loan.

Our mortgage is no fun,
We thought it was such a good idea
To go to the rock, we had no fear
We didn’t know what would come.

Sharing debt payments, that is new to us,
!!!!!ing and fighting all the way,
We would split up and leave if we just could
Instead we argue more each day,
Together.

And when the job loss comes, we smile,
Now there’s a real way out,
We’ll both become bankrupt and live apart
It’s only just begun.

Err... whoops....I've only just realised that it wasn't 'We've Only Just Begun' that I was thinking of yesterday, it was 'Close to you.' (Or, as FTBs are finding things with low rate mortgage deals, 'Closed to You!')

We bought an old Mercedes diesel in the spring.
I opened the CD front & a 'Best of the Carpenters' CD came out ....ugh!
No prior health warning attached either.(I'd have sued if it was the ghastly Cliffy)
I posted it back to the well-to-do owner.
Guess who did not say thank you?
Ashamed perhaps?

Just tried to find this on You Tube, but can't. Can you give me more details, if I don't find it it will drive me mad trying to fit the lyrics (very funny) to a tune.

Is this an insight into your past love life? BUT, what was the CD, I'd forgotten about it until I got back. Dh has met mil at the airport to take her home. I made a quiche for their dinner - for dh really, he thinks it's lovely of me 'cos I don't get on with her.

This does mean I have a bottle - it's supposed to be half - but you know..... - of white wine.

But please, more info so I can sing along.....
