FREE DVD Rental for 21 Days!!

A Company called Moviechoice.com are offering a 21-day free trial of their DVD rental scheme.

The normal trial period is usually 14 days but if you enter the promotional code D2626 you get 21 days of rental during which time you can cancel on line. You then have a further 14 days to return the dvds you have rented out after you have cancelled.

I opted for the DIAMOND package which allows you to take out three DVDs at a time. They are posted to you via first class mail and you return them in a pre-paid package supplied by them. It is a totally free deal and one which normally costs £14.99 to subscribe to per month.

There is a superb choice of DVDs available including many foreign films not found at Blockbuster so get stuck in there!! I have gone through a shed load of DVDs in the last three weeks.

Happy watching!

You can see all of the various free rental deals, with codes to extend the trials at these two sites.

There are enough to keep you going for over a year! ;D
  • Just a word to the wise, I have tried just about all of these DVD rental, firstly a lot of them do not send new releases to you , even after a couple of weeks, the only ones so far were Blockbuster and Globalerental, this being the best so far , price wise and for turnaround of DVDs. a good selection,. Also a lot of the companys have the same "Powered By" such as Video Island. They will not let you set up another account, with another rental company , if you have used theirs ,even if you use another e-mail address, it all goes down to your home address. There is also another tip, once you start paying for your rentals, if you decide to cancel, a lot of the time the companys will give you an extra 2 free weeks, or if dvds do not turnaround quick enough etc you can get credits on your account. But overall try all the free trials, it will save you a bundle.

hmmm, I've heard conflicting views on these boards concerning mulltiple trials. I was under the impression that it was OK, as long as the company was different, even if the 'powered by' was not.

I've finished a Lovefilm trial and was planning to try the WHSmith trial (and pick up a free 5 pound voucher ;)) WHSmith are powered by Lovefilm, so does that mean I can't do this?
  • Looks that way :(. I had a Lovefilm trial which I recently ended. I've just tried registering for the WHSmith's trial, & it said an account already exists with my address. When I logged in using my Lovefilm details, it took me straight to their site. So it seems you get one or the other, but not both. I presume the same will also apply to anyone with a CDWow account, as they're also run by Lovefilm.

The only saving grace is that Lovefilm did actually provide me with a good service, so I probably will go back to them when I've run out of free trials to use. ;)
