Can you really get rich quick?

I am looking to start up a buisness after having had a career break to raise my family. I keep seeing adverts for "earn cash at home .co.uk" who claim that if you buy their manuel (£39.99) then you can work from home and earn up to £14,500 per month.

This sounds really good and very temepting. Has anyone bought this manuel and is it true that you can start earning money so quickly?

Please advise.

If it worked everyone would be doing it.

God damn! I did !!!!!! films/modelling/tv presenting/escorting all at the same time a while ago and even i wasnt on that much!

Yes it's possible, just unlikely. All I can imagine the book tells you is to follow this procedure (but in more words):

Identify a problem that needs a solution.

Identify the potential market.

Identify or create the product or service which solves the problem.

Using the target market you've already identified determine whether the product/service can be offered at a price which is affordable to the customer even with a workable profit margin applied to your costs.

In the case of a product contact appropriate manufacturers/distributers/retailers to see whether they are prepared to produce it/incorporate it into their products or to stock it.

If it is a service contact potential customers directly, advertise in the correct locations, look to where related but non-competitors are publicising their services companies and try to form a mutual referral position. (eg estate agents usually have a list of local solicitors for housebuyers)


Alternatively, call me a cynic if you like and without suggessting you're either, it tells you to use people's greed and laziness against them by writing a book promising to make people a fortune and then sell it though your website for £39.99.;)

I keep looking, it doesnt pay to be too cynical, who knows if some are genuine opportunities.

But all I have found out there are scams really and aside from winning the lottery it looks impossible.

There are many ways to earn money online and some of them can be very high income. However, all the legal and honest ways will take both time and hard work to reach that sort of income level.

Or an extremely unlikely amount of luck. (That young kid that started importing scooters before they became the must have item)

I doubt there's ever a manual that can propel you to riches overnight; most people who have found a "scheme/ideas" that makes them earn money quickly are usually very cagey about sharing those ideas. So such manuals are usually just that, manuals, you just have to set yourself goals, have a plan, work hard towards achieving those goals and be willing to compromise along the way. No easy way about it !
