HI Everyone,
been lurking for some time now and thought i'd have a go at posting.
I have a £5,000 debt which naturally I would love to pay off very soon. I am also lucky enough to own a painting which was given to me worth around £3,000 but I have no idea of the best way to sell it. Can anyone advise me at all?
I would be grateful for any help
Thanks guys

I would do some research on the artist and find out where he/she came from. I had a painting (which I loathed) given to me showing Dartmoor. I found out the artist was from Tavistock and so found a local art gallery who showed it for free with a 5% commission if it sold. It did sell, and for more than I thought it would. Most 'local' galleries (local to the artist) will be more than willing to show for a small selling fee.0
