2 year fixed rate. Should I try and extend it?

Hi,
I currently have a 2 year fixed rate 100% mortgage which is due to end in Nov 2009. After hearing and reading various opinions, I am wondering whether to contact my lender early to see if I can extend my deal to a 5 year fixed on the same rate; just to give piece of mind as far as afforing repayments etc.
Any suggestions?

That won't be possible - unless it's HSBC RateMatcher and you want to pay a huge fee.0

If it was that easy all of us that are currently coming to the end of our sub 5% 2/3 year fixed rates would be doing the same, sadly not possible
