I'm looking for a heavy pine dining table and chairs that will seat six people. I've seen this one on eBay but was wondering if anyone knows of anything similar for less money

It needs be solid pine and preferably rustic looking (ie. not varnished etc) so it will match my oiled pine dresser.
Thanks for any help peeps!

when i wanted a pine table plus 6 chairs i put an ad in the wanted section of our local free ad paper it took a while but eventually got one 4 chairs & 2 carvers draws either side of table and the top is apparently made up of wooden beams excellent effect but then again its not seen as i have a thick table protector on it, as not to spoil it (anthing is possible with my kids:rolleyes: ) if you are not in a hurry for one it might be worth a try to advertise0

As an auction addictive personality, I'll insist you try a local one. Wonderful things are to be had for so much less than you expect. Great source for ebay sales, too. Barjam's idea is good and even in our small village store, similar ad's are posted up - check the Tesco/other supermakret noticeboard too.
