Argos Graco Tandem Buggy

Just been looking at double pushchairs in the new argos cat to find the Graco Quattro Duo Buggy priced at £110.00.
This is an obvious price error as the argos site shows a price of £270.00. Question is then would the store have to sell the product at this price. We are about to have another child and are looking at a double buggy. At £110.00 it's worth it £270.00 not so much.
Any comments??

Short answer is no you cant ever force a shop to sell it at an advertised price and the contract is made at point of purchase when they take your money. It is different on the internet as if it is wrong they take your money and confirm it they can canel due to pricing error as long as they refund your money and it is a genuine error on there part and not designed to mislead.
i found this all out when i had an issues with a large online retailer over a bed i purchased for my son they wouldnt honour the price i had 'bought' it for online. I spoke to trading standards twice - who told me the retailer was under no obligation to honour the price (they said it was a genuine error not done to mislead) and it is a common misconception they have to honour the price - many do out of good will.
if you want i - i would try it instore see how you get on... the thing with common misconceptions is the manager may be under the same misconception and honour it for you - or honour it out of goodwill - or it may be a genuine price!
Hope that makes sense and isnt to rambling - its very late!Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)0 -
