Could you advise me on a possible timescale please?

Could you advise me please? I'm in the very early stages of a self-managed DMP. Last month I paid my first £1 by cheque to each creditor and am about to set up standing orders starting this month. So far I have had the hassling phone calls and the odd letter but nothing more. I know it's going to happen though! Here's my dilemma: my god-child's family have offered to pay for me to go on holiday with them for 2 weeks (how fab is that?! The proviso is that I do some baby-sitting which is fine by me! They only have to pay for flights as we'll be staying at their friends' holiday chalet).
I would love to go but obviously I won't be here to answer the phone or open post. So I wonder if anyone could please tell me is anything huge likely to happen within the next 3-4 weeks that I should be here to deal with? For example, what's the CCJ timescale? As last month was my first defaulting month could anything happen that quickly? When roughly do the debts get passed on to DCAs? And will the DCAs take any immediate action that I will need to respond to?
It's a daft question really as I'm sure every case and every creditor is different, but if you have time to post your experiences of how quickly or slowly things happened for you from this point, or if you have any advice I would be most grateful.
Part of me would love 2 weeks away just to have an escape from waiting for the phone and the postman! Am I being reckless and should I stay just in case... I know you can't tell me what to do but please do tell me what you think.
Many thanks once again XX

Hello GardenLover.
If you are in the early stages of the DMP there is very little chance you will receive any Defaults as yet. These usually take weeks/months to come through. The early days are usually spent with the creditors chasing you for arrears by telephone or post.
The same applies to CCJs - if, and this is a big if, you were to come up against one of these, it is still early days in your DMP so I doubt anyone would issue one as yet.
DCA - how long is a piece of string? Debts being passed to these can take weeks to years.
Personally, I would go on holiday and enjoy yourself! Have a break and deal with the letters etc when you return.

Thank you WhoopieDoodle! I really appreciate your very clear post. I'm so new to this and it's invaluable having advice from those in the know.
Thanks so much XX0 -
My pleasure GardenLover. It is very scary at first but there is a huge amount of support on this board 24/7 so you need never feel alone.
Go on your holiday. After all, who would turn down a free break?
Have fun

Thanks again WhoopieDoodle. I've got to let my friends know by Friday and I'm beginning to think it might be OK...
Has everyone else pretty much had a similar time frame with their creditors? Sorry to keep asking. Thank you X0
