£60 Homebase vouchers free
Ainmhidh
Was browsing homebase yesterday and one of the assistants offered me £60 in Homebase vouchers for free - turns out I had to sign up for the homebase storecard, but there didn't appear to be any obligation to use the card at all to get the vouchers.
Details on their website - http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/HomebaseStaticPageSecondLevel?langId=-1&storeId=20001&includeName=HBCustomerServiceArticles/homebasecard.htm
NOTE: applying is likely to involve credit searches! and the APR is kinda steep so I would NOT use it as a credit card!

How it all works...
When you spend £195 or more you can take advantage of one of our Buy Now Pay Later plans. All you have to do is make your purchases and hand your HOMEBASE card to the checkout assistant or use it to pay for your goods on-line.
Your purchase will appear on your next monthly statement and you’ll see the Buy Now Pay Later plan information for either 3 or 6 months depending on how much you’ve spent. Near the end of the Buy Now Pay Later period we will send you a letter explaining your options:
1) You could pay off your credit plan by Debit card. Alternatively, you could send us a cheque with the completed giro slip from the letter.
2) Or you could spread the cost for a longer period. We’ll simply transfer the outstanding balance along with interest (Typical 27.9% APR variable), calculated from the day you made your original purchase to your normal credit plan. You then pay us 4% of the balance each month (or £2, whichever is greater), or more if you wish.
Buy Now Pay Later – Normal Credit Plan
If you’re only buying a few things and spending under £195, you can take advantage of our normal credit plan. You get up to 59 days to pay (depending when you made your purchase) and if you clear the normal credit balance on your next statement, you’ll pay NO INTEREST!
Alternatively, you can spread the cost for a longer period instead. You will simply pay us 4% of the balance each month (or £2, whichever is greater). Typical 27.9%APR variable. Of course you can pay more at any time and clear your balance quicker.
*Spend & Save
Because your HOMEBASE card can be linked to your Spend & Save account, it doesn’t just help you pay for your purchases – it helps you save on them too. You can earn Spend & Save points on purchases up to £750 on your HOMEBASE card. Use your card today and start earning 2% rewards right away. Once you’ve reached the spend threshold in your personal year (which starts the month you join the scheme), you’ll save 10% on most purchases up to £750. We’ll send you statements to show you what you’ve earned. When you’ve spent £50, we’ll send your reward vouchers, great deals and offers.
Paying off your bill
Each month you will receive a statement in the post, as long as you are using your account on a regular basis. Otherwise you will receive statements at least once a year. You can make a payment to your HOMEBASE card either by Direct Debit, a cheque through the post or by cash or cheque at your bank or building society.
Credit provided, subject to status, by Home Retail Group Card Services Limited, Royal Avenue, Widnes WA88 1AL. For your protection calls may be monitored and/or recordedStarted entering comps from MSE in March.

So where does the £60 vouchers come in then??0 -
It says "discount vouchers worth £60", so it is not £60 worth of Homebase vouchers.0
