£60 Homebase vouchers free

Was browsing homebase yesterday and one of the assistants offered me £60 in Homebase vouchers for free - turns out I had to sign up for the homebase storecard, but there didn't appear to be any obligation to use the card at all to get the vouchers.
Details on their website - http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/HomebaseStaticPageSecondLevel?langId=-1&storeId=20001&includeName=HBCustomerServiceArticles/homebasecard.htm
NOTE: applying is likely to involve credit searches! and the APR is kinda steep so I would NOT use it as a credit card!

My only concern is that they are 'discount vouchers' not actual store vouchers so would probably be randam rubbish like £10.00 off a kitchen range or £20.00 off a bathroom item, etc, etc....Wife/Mother of two gorgeous boys/Full-time A&E Coordinator/Home-start Support Worker/Open University Student/Wannabe Midwife = a busy yet fulfilled life!! :rotfl:0

Do you know if they are offering the £60 vouchers in every store? I cant find anything on the website about vouchers.
