Top Tip if this works :money:.
For years my BF has needed to unlock his P900i but he does not trust the shops to do it as cannot do it instore, or its toooo expensive.
Has anyone tried this yet? Does it work?

well if it's the same thing I used last night then it works perfectly. It very complicated and took me a couple of hours because I had a few problems, but I will put up a complete guide with the download links and everything you need to do a bit later

Ok, here's a guide to how to do it, and ill make it as simple as possible:

This is whats possible to unlock: All DB2020 CID49/51/52:
K530,K550,K550im,K610,K610im,K618,K770,K790,K800,K 818,S500,T650,V630,W580,W610,W660,W710,W830,W850,w 880,Z610,Z710

If you have DB2020 CID49/51 you need to upgrade it with xs++


Its not posible to unlock w200 CID52 and W810 CID50

First of all you need the tools to do it which you can download all at once here:

You do need to install flash drivers for sony ericsson, otherwise the sofware wont be able to access your phone, which can be tricky with Vista, but here's a link which shows you how to do it:

NOTE: You will need winrar to Extract the files.

Here is a download link for a guide on exactly what to do:

This will show you the stages and how to use the programs, with what to do, what to tick etc. You wont be able to do it without this.

On the second stage of the tuturial (unbrand), you need to have the main firmware and the FS firmware, and you will also need these for later on.

The firmware's for your phones can be found at: http://www.iprotebe.cz/

Just select English language on the left. Go to firmware, then your phone, and select CID 52 and download the Main and FS. YOU NEED TO REGISTER TO DOWNLOAD, but it dont take long.


I have filled you in on the bits that were missing and the things that took me hours to solve. All other help is in the guide which you can download (link above)
