Its all done! thank you for your help

Its all done, I am not officially bankrupt.

dont know anout anyone else, but I dont really feel anything, guess it hasnt sunk in.

Got to the court at 8.30 when it opened. The receptionist/administrator checked my forms and took my money. I then went into the waiting room where she took them to get further looked at, there was no one else there. Came back in and said come back at 10am. So I went home as I live bear by and came back at 9.45am after having a cuppa.

Went back into the waiting room where ther were a few moew people waiting. 10 mins later got called in to the court room. As I pushed the door I think i was expecting something different, but it was just a table with chairs around it. the judge was sitting there, who was a fairly older well spoken man. It just kida flicked through the paperwork, asked me if I had seeked adviced. Then told me if I co-opoerated within 12 months I would be able to start my financial life over again.

When I came out I was given my BR order. Think there was one other peson being BR today after me, as he was in straight after me for the same 30 seconds.

The OR is meant to be calling this afternoon, and just need to set up a new account and change my tax credits.

thank you for everyone on heres advice and last minute questions I had! Will elt you know how the OR goes and my SOA!

Well done. Let us know how you get on with the OR. Is it as nerve wracking as I imagine?

  • it was nerve wracking, but no where near as scary as you imagine. I thought I may get eye-balled for being quite young but no one battered an eyelid

  • Well done for getting through it:beer:

From what I understand the Co Op are checking things more now. But if you don't owe them anything all should be fine.
