I am wandering if you need to declare if you have gambled at all in the lead up to bankruptcy, by gambling I mean buying the odd lottery ticket or visiting the arcades while on holiday.
I have not gambled on the internet and I don't bet on the horses and things like that. I have brought the odd lottery ticket and played on the arcades on holiday and a visit to another seaside town on a day out this year. We live in a seaside town but do not visit those.
It is probably a silly thing to ask but I need to put my mind at rest.

Just means the possibilty of a bru/bro. Restrictions that are placed on you for 2-15 yrs. They are no real big deal, more like a slap on the wrist. Take a look on www.insolvency.gov.uk and have a read of those who got bru/bro.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

True, but you might get lucky and win millions and then everyone would know:rotfl: .

I was told by my OR only to tell them of any lottery wins over £100. At this point in time i would gladly give my OR half of anything over £100:pFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Also if you won the jackpot I dont think paying your creditors would be much of an issue."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

I asked the court about this and was told to put lottery losses down and tick yes. I did this and put a figure of £15 as lost. The OR confirmed this in interview, checked this was the only gambling id done and was fine about it.
They look at your bank statements so if like me you used to have a national lottery subscription then they wld know anyway. x0 -
