I am a little confused what boxes to tick. I got divorced 4 1/2 years ago and I am married to my current partner. Do I took both the married box and divorced box?
I don't know what to put in the court section of the divorce proceedings as I never went to court, it was delt with by the solicitor as my ex lived over seas. There is a county court stamp of my local court on the Decree Absolute and was stated that the marriage was dissolved on 3rd February 2004 - is that what I put on the form as the date?

i would imagine is your current marital status which is "Married""Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

Ok tick 1.11 as being married now,1.12 tick yes. The one for being married now and the other as you have been divorced in the last 5 years.
Then give details of any settlement like the house a lump sum ect. If none then put none in the box.
The in 1.13 the name and address of you solicitor. Thats all they are asking for.Does that help. I have my SOA at the side of me so if you get stuck again shout.lolFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Thank you. I am gradually filling in the forms online, so I am sure to have more questions :rotfl: .
I have just thought of another question already. It is reguards to home insurance policies. I used to have a home contents insurance policy through Lloyds Tsb, but that has long gone as I stopped payments on it last year when I changed to our new bank (Due to Lloyds Tsb being one of our creditors). Do I still need to give details of this policy?
We now have new home contents insurance through nationwide (have had this for nearly a year).

Do you actually owe the house ins policy money or was it just cancelled. If the later no but yes if you have an outstanding debt with them.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

As far as I know it was cancelled and we have had no paperwork or phonecalls saying we owe money for our old home contents insurance policy and our Lloyds bank statements show no money taken out to pay for the policy. I think it might have been up for renewal around that time.

In that case i would leave it out. If at a later date it comes up you can always add it then.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
