Credit Scoring: Equifax vs Experian

Hello people,
My first ever post here but before I continue I'd just like to say 'Hi' to everyone. Anyway, I went BR in 2005 and got discharged a year later. I am now trying to rebuild my credit rating by opening one of those sub-prime credit cards.. I had a look at my credit report by both Equifax and Experian and whereas Equifax shows a credit score of around 240 and recorded BR, Experian (CallCredit) doesn't show my bancruptcy but has got a credit score of over 900!! I am slightly lost here.. Don't all credit agencies get informed about CCJ's/Bancruptcy?

They get informed but at the end of the day, information needs to be entered and the slightest incorrect detail would make it wrong.
Anyway - there is a great sticky at the top of the BR board for cleaning up files and how to do it. Secondly I would not worry one iota about an actual "credit score" as that means nothing. Any place offering credit would entirely make up their minds on your credit history (BR and defaults etc that need to be cleaned) and do not bother with a "credit score" - that term is a bit misleading.0 -
Are you really applying for a CC. Sorry if i sound a bit shocked it just that i would be scared stiff of ever having credit again i really would and i guess find it interesting that you would want a CC.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:
