I haven't won a thing for 6 weeks now but won nearly £1500 worth of stuff in the six weeks before that. I was just round at a neighbour's for a drink and they were asking if I'd won anything recently and I said No but when we discussed a set of tickets I'd had for Eric Clapton (thanks again Rock Chick Bird) they were saying they'd have killed for them.

I suppose I just wanted to say that that prizes really do come along like buses and you get a bit disheartened sometimes but stop and remember that sometimes if you're lucky like me you can have a few days where every prize is better than the fab one you won the day before. :beer:

The big ones for me are doing stuff that you would never do ordinarily - the premiere for Mamma Mia was one of those. Had such a brilliant time and it's not something I would have bothered with at the cinema but I loved it.

You just never know, so keep trying! The lift from getting home tonight to a red card from the postie made my day, but won't know what it is till Saturday now. :mad:

Thanks for that! Sometimes it is easy to get downhearted, but the wins do come along... eventually!

My bartender (when I say 'mine' I just mean he owns my local:rolleyes: ) went to the same Clapton gig you did & was completely blown away.

fab post :T it is easy to feel a bit disheartened but posts like this make people want to carry on. I won loads in the last few weeks of june and first few weeks of july but then things slowed down, I guess its good that it happens that way, if you're forever getting win after win it can be taken for granted so you end up gutted that you've not won rather than happy when you have won (if that makes any sense)

I joined in July and won a bacardi pitcher after only a week. I was thrilled with that, but nothing else so far. I really enjoy entering the comps and love reading the posts. My daughter in law introduced me to the site, she wins lots of things, latest was years supply of gas and electric. She tells me to not to get disheartened and keep on comping, which I do.:j
