    We are not talking about a great deal of money and to save the hassle of declaring what would be a small amount I wondered if a gift (a small one) would get round this issue. and yes knock it off the taxable pay of the business.

  • I have received a gift from a client, quite a generous one. How are corporate gifts counted? Do I need to declare? :confused:
  • This is a very difficult area. It depends on the exact nature of the gift.

    This section (and the next page) of the Revenue manuals will give you an idea of how an Inspector will approach this.
