Thanks 160 did not want to be seen as being too cheeky and it if was not for this site I would not even have thought about it.

As I do rather fancy the gift bag and it will save me having to buy £15 worth of No 7 stuff to get it. And at the moment I don't have £15 to spend.

So it will be nice for me being Mrs Very Skint at the moment.

When I got my No 7 bag home and got the 250 points voucher out of it, I saw that the buckle had fallen off and been STAPLED back on. How tacky.
So I am going to take it back, but am wondering how generous Boots are with things like this. For instance, should I put the voucher back in? Or call Boots and get them to send me a replacement?
    Any advice?

  • I've just done an online shop for £50. Does anyone know if I will get the £5 voucher they are offering instore at the moment as well? Our local boots doesn't have an advantage machine and its so frustrating. I miss out on so many bargains.

It worked I got the freebie bag :j looked a little sticky for a moment. And said my friends have done it. Stop myself from saying my internet friends :p

They got a supervisor over and she said yes I could have it and allowed my freebie voucher as well and blamed headoffice for not allowing more than one offer at a time and apologised to me for the problems. So got a mag, a £16 face cream and free bag for £0.

I am so :j things like that never normally happen to me.

Sad I know but little things please little minds. And little pants fit little behinds. Well my behind is not so little :rotfl:

    Has made my day.

Went to my local Boots christmas shopping evening. Ordered a 20 gb ipod for £189 plus bought nail varnish to make my order over £200. I only got 800 odd advantage points not the 4800+ I had been expecting (1200 points for every £50 spent) I queried this and was told that as I was ordering from Boots direct couldn't get them. I told them on the website it says you do, which it proberly doesn't. However they were that busy they gave up and just put them on manually plus gave me £5 voucher.

Also took two items back that I had purchased on 3 for 2. I had picked out another 3 items I wanted. The till gave me a full refund and then charged me 3 for 2 again on my new items. Therefore not having to pay anything out. Plus for some reason they gave me a £5 voucher again!!!!! Did I query this - no I didn't.
