Try the Travel Lodge site and search for the £19 rooms in London area and see what you get. With a bit of luck you should get one fairly cheap because you are booking well in advance.

Or laterooms.com (but remember to go via Quidco.com for 5% back!).0

There's always priceline.co.uk where you can search for hotels, or place a bid for a particular star rating and area and see what you get - which should get you a much cheaper deal, if you don't have a particular hotel in mind. There's a thread on here somewhere if you search "priceline"
lastminute.com also have top secret hotels, where you know the price and star rating and get told the area once you've booked. We got the Hilton at Olympia for £50 a night for a double room.0 -
Try the Travel forum as there are some helpful people who always seem happy to help with out judgement0

This offer to get £25 off at hotel club might help you. If you can find a room for £40-ish for one night, you'd only pay £15. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=10514270
