Without knowing the full terms it's difficult for anyone to comment correctly, but generally speaking these kind of deals do NOT include consumable items such as fluids, tyres, brake pads, exhausts, wipers etc

Correct (although fluids is a bit too general) - oil and windscreen wash would be included as part of a normal service.
Apart from those, none of the things you mentioned are in the service schedule. But brake fluid change *is* in the service schedule.

I'm still amazed that the maintenance package doesn't have any "small print" Ts & Cs. But accepting that it doesn't, they should definitely include everything the manufacturer specifies to be carried out during the 2 years, and that obviously includes one brake fluid change.

Although exel reckons that service agreements normally exclude fluids, if your agreement doesn't say so, then they should be included as they are a natural part of a manufacturer's service.

Yes I agree, Oil and possibly windscreen wash would be considered part of a normal service, but as brake fluid doesn't need to be changed so often then that possibly wouldn't be.

The other items I mentioned would all be considered part of a normal service schedule and checks would be done on those items as a matter of course (and to possibly make a few extra quid for the garage). I wouldn't be very happy if I paid £150-200 to have a service and then get fined for having a dodgy tyre the next day or have my brakes fail on me through faulty discs/pads! Would you ? Your first question would be why didn't the garage spot it ?

I find it hard to believe that there are no T&C's laid out for this agreement. Is that legal ?
