credit file question!!!

Hiya,

I know that ccj's and other bad credit such as defaults, stay on your credit file for 6 years, but 6 years from when? ie; from when it first appeared on your credit file or from the start date or from the date you defaulted?

Thanx

6 years from the date of default, this is when the account is legally terminated and the clock starts ticking
 It’s hard enough remembering my opinions - without remembering my reasons for them
